Bleaches for Washing Machines

0

As a routine, there are certain things you do with soiled laundry even before you put it into the machine. Usually you sort them by groups of whites, light colored cold, dark colored cold, and items washed in warm water. There are different kinds of bleaches you can use with any color. Understanding which bleach works best with which color is important and can represent the difference between whether or not your washing experience is a positive one or a disaster.

Bleaches for washing machines come in both liquids and powders. It is important to understand what type of bleach works best in your machine. For example, some washing machines specify that you should not use any type of powder detergent or bleach in them. If this is your type of machine, you will want to purchase liquid bleach to use when washing.

To avoid possible permanent stains to your clothing and washing machine, make sure you follow the directions for how to use the bleach you’ve selected with your clothes and machine. This will give the best outcome for both your equipment and clothing. Failure to follow the directions can cause discoloration of your clothes and damage to the interior of your washing machine.

Remember that, as a rule, chlorine bleach is for white and other bleaches that say they are color safe are for other colors. Other types of bleaches are known to enhance colors but specify how to use them for safe results.
