Fabric Softeners for Washing Machines

0

Fabric Softeners are the best way to not only soften and scent the fabric of your clothing, linens, bedding and other washables, but fabric softeners prevent annoying static clean that can cause static shock to your items.

Fabric softeners are designed in many varieties but all perform some of the basic functions. Some differences include whether or not they have fragrances and some that are both perfume and dye free for those who have allergies to such things.

Fabric softener can be purchased to work in one of several ways; either to prevent static by being applied to the washing machine load during the rinse cycle or in the form of fabric softener sheets that are added to the dryer. The other way to utilize fabric softener is by using detergents that have the fabric softener already included in them.

The most commonly used type of fabric softener is the liquid kind that is added to the load during the rinse cycle or dispensed into a holder that will release the fabric softener for you. The liquid is dispensed into the rinse water and conditions the items being rinsed so that they are static free and most often have a wonderful fragrance to them even when they are dry.

The alternative, dryer sheets are used exclusively with the dryer and require caution as sometimes they stain certain fabrics with their concentration of fragrance. The best fabric softener for your clothes is one that works well.
